Standard Diets are stocked items which are composed of less refined natural ingredients such as corn, wheat, oats, and soybean meal. These diets are manufactured in large quantities (tons) and are available for most commonly used species such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, nonhuman primates, swine, cats, and ferrets.

All standard diets are manufactured at our antibiotic and synthetic estrogen-free facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. Customers may choose a standard diet among our traditional line or choose a diet from our more advanced Harlan Teklad Global Diets® line.

All standard diets may be certified to meet the requirements of GLP compliance. Autoclavable as well as irradiated diets are available.
