Product Description—2031 Teklad Global High Fiber Rabbit Diet is designed and manufactured with high quality ingredients. 2031 is a fixed formula diet, containing a minimum of 2% fat and a maximum of 25% crude fiber, designed to provide the essential nutrients for adult rabbits. Publications in the scientific literature report that high fiber diets provide improved intestinal motility, reduce the occurrence of enteropathy and help maintain body weight in long term studies. Diet 2031 is available certified (2031C) and irradiated (2931).

Ingredients—Dehydrated alfalfa meal, soybean hulls, ground oats, wheat middlings, dehulled soybean meal, ground corn, dicalcium phosphate, cane molasses, iodized salt, DL-methionine, niacin, vitamin A acetate, biotin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin D3 supplement, folic acid, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of vitamin K activity), vitamin E supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, calcium pantothenate, calcium carbonate, ferrous sulfate, magnesium oxide, manganous oxide, zinc oxide, copper sulfate, calcium iodate, cobalt carbonate, chromium potassium sulfate, kaolin.

t Digestible Energy (DE) is the total (gross) amount of energy in the diet minus the energy eliminated in the feces. It accounts for energy contained in the indigestible portion of the diet. Of the digestible energy, some is lost as a result of various metabolic processes in the urine and sometimes in gases from the digestive tract. The remaining energy in the body is available to support metabolism and is known as the Metabolizable Energy (ME). This value more accurately reflects the usable energy contained in the diet.
