Product Description—2072 Teklad Global Ferret Diet is designed and manufactured with high quality ingredients. 2072 is a fixed formula extruded diet containing a minimum of 36% protein, and 18% fat, designed to maintain a good nutritional state during gestation, lactation, and growth.  Diet 2072 contain slow-ash, poultry-by-product meal and poultry fat which are preferred by ferrets over conventional meat and bone meals and vegetable oils.  It also contains several other highly digestible ingredients, such as rice and egg.  Diet 2072 is available certified (2072C) and irradiated (2972).

Ingredients— Poultry by-product meal, white rice, poultry fat, fish meal, egg product, dried beet pulp, dried brewers yeast, iodized salt, phosphoric acid, L-lysine, DL-methinonine, choline chloride, taurine, vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, niacin, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin, thiamin mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, menadione sodium bisulfate complex (source of vitamin K), folic acid, vitamin B12 supplement, calcium proprionate, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, manganous oxide, ferrous sulfate, copper sulfate, zinc oxide, calcium iodate, cobalt carbonate, sodium selenite, chromium potassium sulfate, magnesium oxide.

t Digestible Energy (DE) is the total (gross) amount of energy in the diet minus the energy eliminated in the feces. It accounts for energy contained in the indigestible portion of the diet. Of the digestible energy, some is lost as a result of various metabolic processes in the urine and sometimes in gases from the digestive tract. The remaining energy in the body is available to support metabolism and is known as the Metabolizable Energy (ME). This value more accurately reflects the usable energy contained in the diet.
